“If you’re hopping on trains, there are no seats, right? And what if you get caught?” asked Harry. “Seats? No, there ain’t no seats and that’s the whole point. No seats and no rules. You ride. Hop on an empty car and watch the sun rise, travel through and around golden, amber fields of beauty, watch the most glorious of sunsets. It’s different out there, I promise you that. The skies are bigger. You lie under the moon. The moon is so close you can just about reach out and cradle it. When you’re hungry, you wait ‘till you pass through a town –large or small, it don’t matter. That’s what I’m doing here. Working for food. It’s a lonely kinda life but I love it.” Harry was hypnotized and speechless. Hypnotized by the escape, the romanticism of it all....” Reviews: "The Boxcar Traveler" is a deftly crafted and compelling read showcasing the storytelling skills of author Christopher Morosoff. While set in the era of America's 'Great Depression', "The Boxcar Traveler" is an inherently fascinating novel that will prove to be an enduringly popular addition to community library "General Fiction" collections. It should be noted for personal reading lists that "The Boxcar Traveler" is also available in a Kindle edition ($2.99). Andrea Kay Reviewer "A Riveting and inspirational tale that steamrolls ahead and takes the reader aboard with its locomotive powers!" Joseph Palma Author- "They Will Be Done" "I have read The Boxcar Traveler several times and find it to be one of the best works of fiction I have read in a very long time. Christopher Morosoff is a new and upcoming novelist in the fashion of Hemingway or Fitzgerald. I would make this a must for your summer reading list. You will never forget this story as it will get deep into your heart and soul." - Albert Joseph Poe Award Winning Poet and Writer of Children's Stories.

I am so excited to be apart of this event! This is my first year and already look forward to doing this again in the coming years! So without further ado I would like to introduce the author that I will be fostering for the week! Christopher Morosoff Author Of: The Boxcar Traveler & Johnny and Grace (Releasing soon) Author Biography Christopher Morosoff Sr. was born in Manhattan, New York, to parents of Russian as well as Italian heritage. Marrying and starting a family as a teenager with his high school sweetheart Theresa, Christopher worked in many different fields and was mostly self-employed. It is just very recently that Christopher's father, Andre, began to encourage him to give writing a try. His first Novel, "The Boxcar Traveler", was based on a memory that Christopher had from his youth. Always finding the thought of "riding the rails' to be an interesting and romantic thought, he simply started to write. His style has been all stream of consciousness and the book has been very well reviewed and submitted for Pulitzer prize consideration. Christopher’s second Novel, “Johnny and Grace”, is the story of his grandfather’s escape from communist Russia, his father’s life, growing up in poverty. And ultimately his love affair with his mother. Christopher and Theresa have three adult children as well as a grandson, and granddaughter. Please click here to check out his author page. Check back all week to learn more!

Resist. That’s what my friends tell me. But to free my prince, And save my people from extinction, I must cooperate with my greatest rival. Everyone believes Kiera Driscoll is dead. Only her friends know the Violet Fox is alive, because they’re in hiding with her deep in Feenagh Forest. Prince Keegan Tramore, who married Kiera in secret, faces a far worse fate. Cursed to slumber eternally, Keegan has been captured by the powerful Frostfire family. The curse is spreading, only affecting those born on the surface. Worse, the Frostfires pin the blame on the Freetors and persecute them relentlessly–a nightmare for Kiera, who wants all Marlenians to live in harmony. Difficult, now that the Frostfires and their Northern allies–including Kiera’s bitter enemy, Lady Dominique Castillo–have usurped Keegan’s rightful throne. There is one hope: the Emerald Cloth, an artefact with legendary healing properties. Although Kiera swore she’d never seek another artefact again, she will do anything to protect her people. The Frostfires seek the cure as well–and they’ll go to great lengths to prevent it from falling into Kiera’s hands. Whatever the cost, Kiera must free Keegan and her people from the magic-induced slumber before the kingdoms succumb to the curse of the Silver Spear. Next week is Foster An Author week.
